The covid-19 pandemic was the perfect pretext for bringing to light a reality that has been going on for years, but which few mention.

The obligation to stay at home put women in the limelight, because they were confronted with both housework and work. The pressure was so great that, according to Michael Page, 60% of all jobs lost during the pandemic were female talent.

There is a lot of progress to be made on this issue and that is why we thought it was necessary and worthy this year to pay tribute to those women who were the protagonists of good news in our pages in 2021.

The faces you see in this special edition are the CEOs, founders, co-founders, presidents, managers, directors, country managers and partners who feature in our articles. All of them are part of the less than 50% of women who make up the leadership of companies in the country, according to Michael Page.

We still have a long way to go and this recognition is a sign of what we can achieve, because it has been proven that when there is a minimum of 30% of women in companies, business indicators improve.
